Everyone is talking about the Boston Marathon tragedy online and everywhere. What can I say that hasn't already been said? I do feel some need to comment on it, rather than looking like I'm ignoring it online. But why is that? I'm not going to incorporate it into the Daily Misfortune comic, because it's in no way funny. Although I did do some on Hurricane Sandy when it happened, but that was before everyone knew the real toll it took on everyone. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and I hope to bring you a bit of laughter with my comics in the midst of all the craziness. I think my friend Ross put it best:

"Despite the terrible tragedy that occurred in Boston today, it's important to be thankful that we live in a country where this is so rare and not as commonplace as in other parts of the world. We need to feel incredibly proud that our country is home to such brave first responders, firefighters, police, national guard and so many devoted to the safety of others in times like these. Acts of terror like this are so absurd, break every rule of human nature, and cannot ever be figured out. How we do our best to prevent and how we respond to these events reflects our unwillingness to give into those who break the rules and commit such horrible crimes against humanity."
